Day 3 in our Purim Mishte series and we’re making these fall off the bone, hot honey BBQ ribs.
A little sweet, a little spicy - these short ribs are perfectly balanced, melt in your mouth and totally irresistible.

3 lbs short ribs or spare ribs
Spice rub:
1 Tbsp paprika
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp onion powder
1 Tbsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Hot honey BBQ sauce:
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup bbq sauce
1 Tbsp sriracha
3 cloves garlic, finely grated
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 300°F.
In a baking pan, layer short ribs in a single layer. Mix all the spice rub ingredients together and sprinkle both sides of ribs evenly.
Top with a wet piece of parchment paper, cover with lid and bake for 2 hours.
While ribs cook, prepare your hot honey BBQ sauce by mixing all ingredients for the sauce together.
After 2 hours, pour hot honey sauce over ribs, cover and bake a for additional hour.
Raise heat to 400°F, uncover and bake for 10 minutes to caramelize the tops.
If desired, garnish with micro greens or chopped herbs.
