The classic every year ougat gvina tiramisu.

A cake that happens year after year. and even at times throughout the year.

Eat it for dessert or for the most indulgent breakfast alongside your coffee, either way its amazing. Its not too sweet just like I like my desserts.

Best part, its so easy that my kids make it more often than I do.

tiramisu

  • 1 L non-dairy whipping cream (if using dairy, make sure to sweeten it with ½ cup powdered sugar)

  • 2.8 oz vanilla pudding

  • 250 g gvina levana (quark cheese)

  • 2 tbsp instant coffee

  • ¼ cup boiled water

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 pack lady fingers, about 24 cookies

  • Semi-sweet chocolate

Ganache:

  • 200g non-dairy cream

  • 200g chocolate chips (good quality)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Start by adding your cream and vanilla pudding to the bow of a mixer. Whisk until whipped. Fold in gvina levana. Set aside.

2. Mix coffee with hot water then add milk. Set aside.

3. Prepare your cake dish and your station. Start with a layer of cookies. Dip each one quickly in coffee and place in your dish. Make a full layer of cookies. Top with half of the cream.

4. Shave chocolate on the cream, then repeat cookies and cream layer. Smooth out the top as best as you can.

5. Prepare ganash: in a saucepan, heat cream until a soft boil and once hot remove from heat. Add chocolate immediately and whisk until fully dissolved and homogenous.

6. Pour on top of cream layer to create a thin equal layer.

7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
