Fruit Sauce

Get ready to level up your summer desserts with the easiest addition!


This fruit sauce is everything that I want to balance a sweet. The possibilities are endless. Use it to top pancakes, yogurt parfaits, merringue, pavlova and even cheesecake!!


My favorite: bought ice cream with fruit sauce on top


fruit sauce

  • 2 cups frozen berries (or fresh)

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 lemon, juiced



DIRECTIONS:


1. Start by combining all ingredients in a pot.

2. Place on a medium high flame and as soon as it heats through, lower to medium low.

3. Once fruits soften, and release liquid, blend using an immersion blender. You can opt to transfer the fruits to a blender as well.


The fruit sauce thickens as it cools. Cool completely before using.
