Berkoks, ptitim, petits plombs, Israeli couscous... whatever you call them, they are amazing!
I never thought of posting this as a recipe because i never really considered it as one! Until so many of you were telling me that you dont know how to make them!
They are my go-to Sunday lunch when I just want my kids to eat, hassle free. One of the rare things that all 3 of my kids love!
So next time you don't know what to make for lunch, try it!

- 2 cups uncooked Israeli couscous (I use the ones from Osem)
- 3/4-1 cup of milk
- 1/2 stick of butter (1/4 cup)
- Salt, to taste
DIRECTIONS:
- Start by bringing a pot of water to a rolling boil. Add israeli couscous and bring down the heat to a medium heat.
- Stir a few times. Once they are cooked through (about 6 minutes), drain. Do not rinse. Return to pot.
- Add in milk, butter and salt. Mix on a low heat until everything is incorporated.
- Serve hot!
To Reheat:
Place pot over low heat and add some milk. Stir until heated through.
Enjoy,
Guila
